This year’s International Mining and Resources Conference (IMARC) centered on the theme of adding value through innovation and collaboration, so Motion Metrics’ advanced monitoring technologies were a natural draw for the annual mining events’ 4000+ attendees. IMARC is Australia’s largest mining conference and ran from October 30th to November 2nd in Melbourne.
Motion Metrics was one of 125+ exhibitors from more than 80 countries. This year, we showed off our LoaderMetrics™ demo featuring AI. Our booth saw heavy traffic from industry professionals, and attracted considerable media attention. We were pleased to find our name well-recognized among attendees, and consider the event a great success in generating further brand awareness. Australia is a hotbed of mining innovation and, in future, Motion Metrics will be opening an office at the heart of it in Perth. Located in Western Australia, Perth is a natural choice for a satellite office given its proximity to the state’s large iron ore mines; many mining companies also have their corporate offices in Perth.
Motion Metrics will be back at IMARC in 2018 and, in the meantime, will be busy following up with mine management looking to improve safety and productivity with Motion Metrics’ products!
