From May 6-9, Motion Metrics had the pleasure of exhibiting at CIM 2018 Convention in our hometown of Vancouver! This year, the annual convention hosted more than 5000 participants, 450 exhibitors, 40 countries, and 340 speakers and boasted an impressive line-up of expertly-led workshops. We met with a variety of industry professionals and had the opportunity to discuss new projects in our development pipeline with prospective customers.
Although 95% of our revenue is attributable to exports, Motion Metrics takes great pride in supporting our local community. Headquartered at the University of British Columbia, all Motion Metrics research and development, hardware production, and business development is conducted in Vancouver to benefit the Canadian economy. We also sponsor local causes and events – from sponsoring initiatives to connect university students with industry to sending Brazilian mining students to visit the Gabriela Mistral mine in northern Chile. Make sure to catch us riding the Big Bike to raise funds for the Heart and Stroke Foundation in Canada this Thursday, May 17th!
