Motion Metrics had a successful week exhibiting at Expomin 2018 in Santiago, Chile from April 23-27. As Latin America’s largest mining fair, Expomin attracted 70,000 visitors and more than 1200 exhibitors from 35 countries this year.
The main attraction at our booth was our new BeltMetrics™ demo. This fragmentation analysis solution uses stereo imaging and machine learning technology to accurately scale and measure visible rocks. Like our other monitoring solutions, BeltMetrics™ integrates with MetricsManager™ Pro for centralized data analysis and reporting.
The commercial release BeltMetrics™ marks an important development in the Motion Metrics fragmentation analysis product line as mines can now measure rock size distribution along the entire mine-to-mill comminution circuit with our solutions. Used in conjunction with ShovelMetrics™, PortaMetrics™, and MetricsManager™ Pro, BeltMetrics™ provides a comprehensive understanding of blasting, crushing, and grinding operations.
