ToothMetricsTM

ToothMetricsTM is the flagship product of Motion Metrics. It reduces production downtime and significantly improves the operation safety of the mining shovels in an open-pit mine by immediately detecting broken teeth and adapters on their buckets. Missing teeth that go undetected often jam a crusher or processing plant, costing significant downtime for the mine and causing a serious safety hazard.
WearMetricsTM

WearMetricsTM is Motion Metrics's solution to Tooth-wear Monitoring problem. It provides the necessary information to operators and mine engineers regarding the wear of the shovel teeth. Operators see the wear status of the teeth in real-time on Motion Metrics's display in front of them and mine engineers receive a detailed report including the history of wear change in a file.
ViewMetricsTM

ViewMetricsTM provides the shovel operator with greater visibility around the shovel by providing up to four surveillance views. The system improves operation safety by displaying the left, right, and rear surveillance views of the shovel on a high-resolution LCD monitor mounted inside the cab.
RadarMetricsTM

RadarMetricsTM is an optional addition to the ViewMetricsTM system which adds a series of radar sensors around the shovel or other large machinery to convey distance information to the operator. This complete system enables the operator to be aware of dangerously close objects around the equipment at all times.
FragMetricsTM

FragMetricsTM provides rock fragmentation from the shovel's bucket before the rocks break down from handling and processing. This is a critical advantage for evaluating blasting and effects on comminution processes. Measuring rock fragmentation from the conveyor belt after the crusher/grinder is no longer representative of the blast results and the input feed to the crusher/grinder.
LoadMetricsTM

LoadMetricsTM is a real-time hydraulic shovel arm geometry and payload monitoring system. The LoadMetricsTM system monitors various shovel parameters to determine the exact payload and coordinates of each bucket load. The system helps to increase production efficiency and to reduce equipment wear and damage.
Arm Geometry System (AGS)

Arm Geometry System (AGS) is a real-time shovel arm geometry system. The AGS system monitors various shovel parameters to determine the exact coordinates of the bucket position. The system helps to increase production efficiency and reduce equipment wear and damage.
VMHT

ViewMetrics for Haul Trucks (VMHT) provides the haul truck driver with two side surveillance views to allow for greater visibility around the haul truck. Allowing the driver to have a clear view of the area around the haul truck prevents fatal accidents and costly equipment damage. The ViewMetrics for Haul Trucks (VMHT) system is a rugged yet cost-effective solution designed by Motion Metrics in response to direct requests from its customers.
